Mill Creek COPE
Mill Creek COPE
A community effort to prepare ourselves for emergencies in Healdsburg, CA
COPE is a grassroots effort built upon the concept of “neighbors helping neighbors” to engage communities in emergency preparedness education, advocacy, and planning. COPE stands for Communities Organized to Prepare for Emergencies, and we foster community preparedness in coordination with public safety agencies, non-profits, and non-governmental agencies. The Mill Creek COPE is one of over 40 COPE groups in Sonoma County, California. To learn more about other local COPE groups and activities, visit the Northern Sonoma County COPE website.
For a brief story about how COPE came to be in our area, watch this short video from members of COPE in Geyserville, CA.
